L'Eventail Japonais

Un voyage vers la culture asiatique. It was the Japanese who, in the 7th century, invented the folding fan, or sensu in Japanese. Legend has it that it was a peasant who designed the first folding fan after watching the wings of a bat fold and unfold. The Japanese fan symbolizes belonging to the aristocracy during the feudal era. This design is an inspiration of the Japanese fan, a deconstruction of its elements resulting in sharp yet smooth elements forming altogether a conceptual form of the Japanese fan.
